As of July 1999, B. I. S. is now doing business as Business Information Systems. Our focus has NOT changed, however! As of August 1999, B. I. S. is now an Artisoft Televantage Computer Telephone System dealer. Shiva Offers Direct Internet Address Translation (DIAT) for the AccessPort

With the issue of firmware 1.5, the Shiva AccessPort ISDN router allows IS Managers to have the same set of IP addresses for networks behind ALL AccessPorts connecting to their LAN. Also, users can keep the same IP address on laptops no matter whether they're connected at the main office or at a regional office or even home, when the remote LAN is connected via an AccessPort. Shiva was recently purchased by Intel Corp.
